He worried and criticized that its use could be misleading for mutual understanding between Japanese and Chinese people. Then, to correct Nisshigōbengo, From Nisshigōbengo to Correct Chinese was published in 1926. Nisshigōbengo is pidgin that was created through Japanese and Chinese language contact. One of its linguistic features is using a large number of "de" (的). The so-called form and usage of pidgin were simplified. However, from the view of correct Chinese, it appears that in Nisshigōbengo a needless "de" (的) is added.
