Numbers of researchers have created personality inventories, and they are widely accepted. However some inventories include terms which are not familiar among young people or are used in a different situation today. By collecting items from college students, we have constructed a new personality inventory which is comprised of terms in daily use. From the solution of the factor analysis we extracted five common factors and named them as Sensibility, Activeness, Resourcefulness, Irresponsibility, Tolerance. We constructed five scales from items which were loaded on each of the factors. The scales also showed Cronbach's alpha coefficients ranging from .73 to .93. Furthermore the inventory showed criterion-related validity with Social Anxiety Tendency scale.
