In this study we analyze how Japanese firms react this natural disaster, how their BCP functioned and how they modified their risk management. Firstly we overlook the framework of risk management, secondly we point out how Great East Japan Earthquake affected BCP and supply chain system in Japan, and thirdly we examine the case study of Hitachi group.
