| 内容記述 | Tien Yee News (Natural Justice) was published in Tokyo, 1907; all of its compilers were Chinese intellectuals who were residing in Japan at that time. It was the first women's magazine to advocate anarchism in modern China. Additionally, until March 1908, Tien Yee News published 19 volumes in total, which comprised a series with the largest number of issues among Chinese newspapers and periodicals printed overseas in the late Qing Period. Since Tien Yee News advocated both feminism and anarchism, it is an essential reference point for examining the spread of Marxism and the women's rights movement in China. The overwhelming majority of research concerning Tien Yee News has emphasized anarchism, socialism or other revolutionary ideological thought. However, there exist few studies on the connection between Tien Yee News and the Japanese Socialist Party. However, there is much scope for studying the extent of Japan's influence on Tien Yee News and beyond. This paper examines the background of the establishment of Tien Yee News, the influence it received from the Japanese Socialist Party, the editors who had acquired ideological knowledge in Japan, and who further disseminated that knowledge to their homeland China, following the trajectory of radical intellectual thought from Europe through Japan to China. | |||||
