| 内容記述 | This study settled the research on pictures of Sino-Japanese peace treaty talk described in a color woodblock print. In modern Japan, pictures which I described a talk in the war had an important meaning. Those pictures has not only report the state of the meeting but also the cross-national relationship suggested. The state of the talk was described in the Sino-Japanese War that it was the first foreign war, and was modern war for Japan. However, it was only an ukiyo-e artist have drawn. “Pitchers of peace treaty talk” depicted power relations of Japan and Qing. The peace treaty talk figure which was produced in a Japanese color woodblock print were painted Japanese and Qing of consequence besides Europeans or Americans. These description was the results that expectation and the desire of the people were reflected. In addition, it said that it were pictures which the Sino-Japanese War period designate that it was the interval of the early modern times and modern times. |
