| 内容記述 | Chen Chun, as a disciple of Zhu Xi, plays a very important role in the spread of Zhu Xi’s doctrine of ghosts and spirits （gui shen）. Chen Chun basically succeeds Zhu Xi’s viewpoints on ghosts and spirit; however, there are some differences and characteristics of Chen’s own as the exposition develops. This paper points out the over-sacrificing and demon are Chen’s essential concern. Zhu Xi, from the angle of intellectual history, maintains it was not until scholars’emphasis on “Nature’s Yin-Yang” since Song Dynasty that “spirits, became ubiquitous”, while in Chen’s opinion,the scholars’viewpoints of Song Dynasty are in accord with Confucian classics, i.e. “classics tell the original idea of spirits”. Chen Chun hopes to effectively control folk beliefs through clarifying LiXue （Neo-Confucianism） and restoring the ritual. He believes that the traditional ritual itself has already realized the demand of the interaction between human’s minds and spirits, and furthermore, he maintains “ghosts and spirits are the principle of the system of ritual and music”, which provides a criterion on correctly dealing with the relationship between human beings and spirits. His thoughts demonstrate that the religious spirit of Confucian school are enclosed in the system of ritual and music and humanistic rationality, while the law of the rise and decline of folk beliefs itself falls outside his perspective. |
