| 内容記述 | “The aesthetics of autumn flowers” （The akikusa’s aesthetics）, as a certain characteristic aesthetic concept that is proposed by Minamoto Toyomune （1895‒2001）, a Japanese art historian, who had ever regarded the “autumn flowers”as a symbol of the invariable characteristic of the Japanese art after studying each time since the Fujiwara period on the Japanese history of art, is implied as the origin of the Japanese beauty. As a part of the very beginning in elucidating “the aesthetics of autumn flowers” created by Minamoto, this paper is aim to take a general view of his statement and to take up some of his main indications, which is expected to be helpful to grasping the outline of Minamoto’s historical view of Japanese art. In addition, the principle of artistic effective, enunciated as the essence of the Japanese beauty explicitly from the opinions of Minamoto will be set as a key word, while inspecting the aesthetic expression of the Japanese art works and those of the Chinese. | |||||
