| 内容記述 | The Japanese color woodblock prints conveyed the images of First Sino‒Japanese war to Japanese people in 1894‒1895. The figure of Japanese and Qing soldier fought were painted on these printed publications. Although these were imaginary scene, they became popular among the people at that time because they could by such multicolored prints at a cheap price. This paper focuses on war expression painted on woodblock print. In conclusion, these prints were not necessarily painting battle figures by same expression, and its representational variations increased by time. | |||||
