It also considers the relationship between Tugong and Taisui, which is regarded as the deity of the earth taboo in later ages. The belief in Zhongliu originated from an ancient belief in the earth, but it became an abstract concept under the influence of wuxing. On the other hand, the earth taboo can be traced back to the yueling (rules for farming), which were mystified by the ying-yang principle and wuxing. Also, the origin of belief in Tugong was closely related to the popularity of chenwei (mythical thought) and witchcraft. The original character of belief in Taisui was about direction rather than the earth taboo., 東アジアの思想と構造}, pages = {191--208}, title = {中国古代における土公信仰の由来について}, volume = {1}, year = {2013} }
