| 内容記述 | This essay explores the thinking of Ming philosopher Wang Shouren（1472-1529）,especially regarding with the so called “anti-intellectualism tradition in Chinese philosophy”, which was suggested by Pro. Yu Yingshi. The “Brain（tou nao 頭腦）”is emphasized continually in Wang Shouren’s innate knowledge（liang zhi 良知） theory, and apparently it is the innate knowledge. People should grasp the “Brain” first, and other factors like the acquired knowledge must be leaded under the conductor of the “Brain”. There is no essential contradiction between the “Brain” and the learning from experience. In chapter two, from the sight of self-cultivation（gongfu lun 工夫論）, Wang Shouren’s thought can be summarized as “When you do something, then learn the knowledge under the direct of the innate knowledge if necessary”, for even the Saint（sheng ren 聖人） can not be omnipotent like God. The position of acquired knowledge is much lower in Wang Shouren and Yangming School than Zhuxi, but it should not be concluded that Wang Shouren is hostile to the acquired knowledge. |
