In the Joseon Dynasty of Korean Peninsula, there appeared a Taoist organization which aims at the cultivation of Korean Dan. During its development, 朝鮮丹学派 does not just absorbed a large mount of Chinese Neidan thought but also developed some thoughts of their own. Among which, there appears a book "baigetudousyu" which contains detailed records the Neidan on the Korean peninsula. The cultivation methods of Neidan are mainly divided into three parts in that book, namely, Qi (気), 龍虎 and Fire (火候). Korean peninsula Neidan thought inherited a lot of Chinese Neidan thought and changed accordingly, eventually developed some of their own features.
