| 内容記述 | Zhou Zuoren, one of the best Chinese experts of Japan in modern history, learned Japanese by himself, yet little justice has been done to his unique strategy in language learning, which is a good combination of academic and grassroots styles. At a time when "Shortcut to Japanese Language" was popular in China, which advocated reading Japanese texts quickly by reading the Chinese characters contained, he put emphasis on the importance of Japanese kana characters, which is the true Japanese alphabet. To him, spoken Japanese instead of written texts was a better entrance to the essence to the language, hence the significance of a first-hand experience to the genuine Japanese life. Zhou's successful strategy is based on his strong interest in understanding a foreign culture, which indicates the value of personal interest and intellectual growth in the process of foreign language learning. | |||||
