| 内容記述 | In the Edo period, Japan and China traded with each other by Chinese Junks, and a large number of Chinese books were brought to Japan. Among the imported books, the Seal Carving books were used as a model to the Japanese seal engravers of the Edo period. It led to the development and prosperity of the engraved art in the Edo period. In this paper, based on the various books catalog imported by junks we explored the types of Chinese Seal Carving books imported to Japan. Furthermore, the relationship between the date of publication and the time of departure, the arrival port and the collection place are investigated. The price and types of the Seal Carving Record, the old seal and the seal of the Ming and Qing Dynasty genre included in the Seal Carving Record are also investigated. | |||||
