| 内容記述 | Yano Ryukei (1850-1931) carried out many activities in the political arena in the early Meiji after he was commended to assist Okuma Shigenobu in Ministry of finance by Fukuzawa Yukichi. Especially, Yano Ryukei has taken part in writing Shigi Kempo (private draft for national constitution) which became one of an inducement of the political changes of Meiji-14 and his resignation in 1881. It seems that the ebb and flow of Yano Ryukei's political life is always synchronize with Okuma-Shigenobu, but we can also find, that Yano Ryukei's political activities also showed his own characteristics. Considered his later behaviors, we can analyze that on one hand he always wanted to keep distance with political power, on the other hand, he also trying to solve social and political problems enthusiastically. No matter in his political life or in his literary life, education of the citizen’s, stability of country, extend of national and happiness of people is Yano Ryukei's eternal purposes. This paper discusses Yano Ryukei's political activities after Meiji-14 chronologically, Also, the author will research the characters of his political activities and its reason based on the background of that times. | |||||
