| 内容記述 | Kano Naoki is a famous sinologist in the period of modern Japan. He is one of the earliest scholars who study and teach Chinese traditional novel in Japan. This paper，according to exploring and analyzing his study on Chinese traditional novel through three parts： Kano's viewpoints of Chinese novel，his breakthrough in the study of Chinese novel,and his study of Hongloumeng, points out that Kano Naoki's study starts from his explanation of the two systems of Chinese traditional novel, and based on western standpoint of watching society through the novel，he in turn emphasizes the study of social culture，customs and institution to better understand the novel Besides，his research on the writing time of Shuihuzhuan and the origin of Chinese traditional novel not only make clear the influential relations and the historical development of Chinese traditional novel but also make him the originator of Dunhuang Studies． |
