| 内容記述 | Noguchi Shōhin was one of the great Nanga painters in the Meiji period. However, Her works have not been much researched because Kyūha (the old school) which she belonged to was not the mainstream of Japanese modern art. This treatise deals with her landscape paintings drawn from real life: Kōshūmitake-zu and Komatsushima and Awa Naruto-zu byoubu. To begin with, I confirm the definition of Shinkei-zu, and then, make close analysis of two works to clarify what she specifically learned from nature and conception of works. Furthermore I weigh the one against the other and examine the transition. | |||||
