The tomb was maintained by local gentries 郷紳 and literati thorough Late Imperial China. Especially, the maintenance by Peng Yulin彭玉麟 in 19th Century was large in scale. Its figure was investigated by Tokiwa Daijo 常盤大定, a scholar of Japan, in 20th Century, But the tomb was thoroughly destroyed during the Great Cultural Revolution. Fortunately, the tomb was restored and regained the present figure in the beginning of this century.
