The auxiliary particle has two meanings, they can classify gùo1 and gùo2 by\nthese meanings. Gùo(guo)1 represents the perfection or completion of an action, while\ngùo(guo) 2 represents experience. Earlier research has examined the transformation\nprocess and determined that gùo(guo) 2 appeared later than guò(guo) 1. Nevertheless, if\nthe verb attach to gùo(guo) 2 that represents experience is pursued, examples of\nguò(guo) 2, as a stative verb plus guò2, do not appear until much later. There are very\nfew examples in documents from before the Qing Dynasty.
