There are two kinds of Three-character Classic of Arabia, one with the notes of Yuan Guozuo and the other with the notes by Ma Dexin. That is, it was found that the printed book only with passages from the sutras, which is thought to be written by Liu Zhi, does not exist. The contents of Three-character Classic of Arabia are organized mainly based on Islamic theory and practice. When taking Islamic theory and practice as the ordinary knowledge for Muslim people, the format of Three-character Classic of Arabia is similar to that of the Chinese traditional Three-character classic. It is possible to say that the Three-character Classic is the elementary educational textbook based on the framework of the Three-character classic. And, it was pointed out that the fact that Chinese Muslim people valued not only Arabic and Persian but also education of words of Chinese or education in words of Chinese from the existence of the Three-character Classic of Arabia.}, pages = {233--244}, title = {近世における中国ムスリムの初等教育―『天方三字経』初探―}, volume = {2}, year = {2009} }
