In recent years, increased attention has been given to appropriate treatment and support for individuals with subthreshold traits of autism and mental disorders. Further, it has become a challenge to develop screening tools for subthreshold autism traits. Within the realm of ASD assessment, it is difficult to effectively screen individuals through evaluations by caregivers and self-descriptive\nquestionnaires when intellectual development is within normal limits and autism traits are subthreshold. Because individuals with subthreshold autism traits may have limited self-monitoring, they may not be assessed properly through self-descriptive questionnaires.
