Particularly, children diagnosed with ASD have been assessed and received support early. However, individuals with subthreshold ASD are seldom diagnosed until adolescence, or even adulthood, when they show various psychiatric symptoms and behavioral difficulties. They are not diagnostically evaluated effectively and do not receive support on levels they require. For appropriate treatments and support, it is important to screen subthreshold ASD quickly.
