The reaction products were analyzed by electrospray ionization mass spectrometry(ESI-MS); also, the catalytic effect of alkali halides was examined. The results indicated that sodium iodide had the greatest catalytic effect among them. A tendency of the effect was considered based on the difference in the ion radius between alkaline metal and halogen, or the difference in the electronegativity of halogens.
