The flow oscillation depends, in general, on system size and/or configuration, and therefore the relationship between the premature dryout and the flow oscillation has not been fully understood so far. In this investigation, a CHF experiment in a forced flow boiling channel under the oscillatory flow condition has been conducted. Numerical simulation has also been conducted based on the lumped-parameter model of the boiling channel.
