| 内容記述 | 山中での「道迷い遭難事故」は，長時間，死の恐怖にさらされ幻覚，幻聴が生じ，最悪死に至る．警察庁事故統計よると， 5年間平均（2012～2016年）山岳遭難事故者平均総数に占める「道迷い遭難」の割合は40.6％と，他の事故原因に比べ突出した値を示している．道迷い遭難事故がこれ程高い値を示すケースは，他の登山国においては，例を見ない．登山者の高年齢化，登山ブーム，行政や山岳関連団体の遭難防止への関心の低さ，登山道の管理不足に加え，一般登山者のナビゲーション能力不足と地図・コンパスの不携帯，山菜採りなどの非登山活動の多さ，などの要因が重なり，40％もの道迷い遭難を発生させていると推測される．筆者は1997年より2016年まで，20年間様々な環境下で，山中での道迷い現場実験を行い，道迷い被験者の空間認知特性，方向感や読図能力，移動特性や意思決定の特徴などについて，明らかにした．加えて，国内外の道迷い遭難事故のデータベースを構築し，道迷い者の行動特性より，その傾向をまとめた．以上の分析結果より，多種多様な道迷い遭難における要因と，そのメカニズムを明らかにし，道迷い対策のためのPLP 法の開発など，多くの成果を得たので報告する。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The lost person on a mountain is a veryserious accident, because he has been encountering the fear of death for a long time, and some of them die. The statistical data of the police agency reported that the ratio of the lost in the total number of the mountain accidents is 40.6%. No other country has over 40% record of the lost person. Therefore, Aoyama has started to research the lost person behavior since 1997. The main key words of research during 20 years were “Sense of orientation on a mountain”, “Field test for getting lost”, “Lost person’s Database”, “PLP method”, In the result of these researches, it became apparent that the getting lost accident on a mountain was caused by the interaction of 6 relevant factors. Six factors are the plans for hiking and climbing, human error, navigation ability, the visible eff ect of the shape of land and trail, quality and quantity of information. In order to reduce the number of the lost persons’ accidents, PLP method for taking countermeasures against the lost accident has developed. Even if it becomes GPS era in mountaineering, PLP method will hopefully become a useful and reliable navigation technique. | |||||
