| 内容記述 | The theory of reasoned action is widely used to predict variety of behaviors and understand the attitudinal dimensions. It proposes that the intention to perform or not perform a given behavior is a function of an overall, personal, direct attitude toward the behavior (AB) and a "subjective norm" (SN). However, there is the argument on the sufficiency of the two-component AB and SN of the theory (O'Keefe, 1990, p.85). Thus in this study, I have investigated the Fishbein and Ajzens' model by analyzing the university students' intention to use electronic-mail. The findings show the importance of some beliefs such as the free cost of using e-mail and storing e-mail message for a long time as well as the elements of time of the behavioral criterion. In addition, the importance of SN is discussed to conduct a comparative study at Kansai University. | |||||
