A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF THE MODAL PARTICLE IN THE FOUR EDITIONS OF LAO 《老乞大》四种版本语气词比较研究 斉, 燦 30442 Lao Ch’i-ta the modal particle language developments and changes 関西大学（Kansai University） Lao Ch'i-ta is one of the most important oral Chinese textbooks in Korean era. Being modified many times, there are different editions of Lao Ch'i-ta which can generally reflect the language visage of northern Chinese in different dynasties.
