赴日元僧东陵永玙书法考略 A Study of Donglingyongyu's Calligraphy 康, 佳琦 元僧 东陵永玙 禅宗 书法传播 召庭学说 Yuan dynasty Buddhist Monks Donglingyongyu the Chan sect spread of calligraphy Zhaotingxueshuo 関西大学 Kansai University As the last monk who went to Japan from China in Yuan Dynasty, Donglingyongyu was not only played a positive role in promoting the Buddhist interactions between China and Japan, but also made a great contribution to the spread of calligraphy to Japan in Yuan Dynasty. First of all, this paper investigates the life of Donglingyongyu, and finds out the reason why he did not fear difficulties and dangers and went to Japan to promote Buddhism. Secondly, it analyzes existing works of Donglingyongyu one by one, and discusses the origin of his calligraphy and the related calligraphy-thoughts.
