          <datacite:description descriptionType="Other">The author has been practicing a project in which high school students and university students studying English as EFL in the Asian region form an international collaborative team to make presentations. There, PBL international collaborative active learning has been practiced in which cultural and logical conflicts are resolved and problems are resolved while using ICT. There were eight categories in the questionnaire about group work used in this international collaboration project. Among them, we proposed the presentation of discourse markers as English expressions that can be used in the categories of "communication between group members" and "consensus procedure by groups", which had low scores, and their use in educational settings. As a result, the author was convinced that they could utilize these in actual exchanges to carry out communication that contributes to strengthening teamwork.</datacite:description>
