| 内容記述 | China has a long history of recording astronomical phenomena, with concomitant political connotations. The ruling class always took advantage of astronomical theories to declare the rationality and legitimacy of their domination. Influenced by China, Vietnam also used astronomical theories to emphasize the independence and legitimacy of their governance. However, there was some disharmony. Vietnam could not eliminate the impact of Sinocentrism. This article is based on the Complete Annals of Đại Việt (大越史記全書) and discusses the meaning and heuristics of the Hua-Yi (Sino-barbarian) ideology behind the astronomical theories. | |||||
