| 内容記述 | Noah's Ark is a short fiction written by Kobo Abe and published in the January 1951 issue of the "Gunzo" magazine. This novel relates how the narrator "I" lived in a village, which was strictly ruled by the village head Noah. After losing my family to Noah's tyranny, I escaped from the village. When I returned to the village, I saw the ruins, the lonely Noah and the abandoned half-built ark and after a last conversation with Noah, I resolved to leave the village forever. Although this novel has not received public attention to date, it can be seen as the author's new summary of the parashah Noach in the Book of Genesis, which Abe focused on in the long term, which makes it valuable in terms of literary research. As Be mentioned in his comments, Kobo Abe wrote Noah's ark to criticize "the Arkism" - Noah was chosen by God, so only he and his family had the privilege of surviving the flood. In this article, I will analyze the novel Noah's ark in detail: to illustrate the image of "Noah" created by author Kobo Abe, analyze how he destructured the old Noah tale, created the new tale of the Ark and criticized "the Arkism". It also paves the way to re-interpret this story. | |||||
