| 内容記述 | Individuals with disabilities have always participated in society, but for various reasons they have become more visible in the 21st century than in those previous. Naturally, the handicapped person has the same right as able-bodied people to play sports and live healthily. Especially, it is necessary to do sports to create a healthier lifestyle for all people, including the disabled, ranging from infants up to senior citizens. The students in the Department of Health and the Well-being at Kansai University have to learn the special techniques and mentality required to support challenged people in this cause. We are planning and executed "adapted" sports for challenged people. Specifically, Therapeutic Recreation, Project Adventure, Nature Game, Sitting Volley-ball, Flying Disc, Goal Ball, Sports Chanbara, Wheel-chair Marathon and Blind Running are all contained within our program. | |||||
